If you can’t handle the fire… 2-8-09

I managed to get home from the trip with just enough time to make it to church (it’s in the evening). I thought it was somewhat comical that I went to Las Vegas and then flew straight to church afterwards. Somehow it worked and I think that God enjoys us enjoying life, He just wishes we weren’t so stupid sometimes about what we think will fulfill us. But I digress.
We had a big, fun pizza dinner after the service and while I was cleaning up I realized that I hadn’t taken a picture yet (I spent most of the day attempting to sleep in the airport – our flight was super delayed.) So here we are – industrial sized cooking utensils, YAY!

This is a ceiling fan. This ceiling fan belongs to my cousins who were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today. It was a fun day of driving (back) to LA and seeing not-too-extended family.
It was also my mom’s birthday. After the anniversary party we headed to the Olive Garden. It’s amazing that my parents put up with me some times. This picture is actually pretty symbolic or poetic or something.
