Punk on a Bus 2-7-09

A few of the people on the trip decided to dress up as alter-egos, because – why not? So this is “Jade” riding the bus in the rain.
Also, I think its rather funny that because of the pictures I chose to put up here you have no idea where I went – neener neener.
Ok fine, I’ll tell you – we went to Vegas for the weekend for a friends birthday and had a blast! There you happy? Good.

Today was a bit of a roller coaster but luckily it ended well – lots of candles and some goofy friends playing everything from hymns to Beatles to Stravinsky to MJ on 2 violas, 1 violin, 1 piano, 1 table, 1 crutch and 3 or 4 voices. It was a fun hodgepodge of music 
Unfortunately it was too dark to get any decent pictures of the music making (I did record a bit of it though – i love that my camera as an audio record feature – and for what it is I’m pretty impressed with the quality).

This is a ceiling fan. This ceiling fan belongs to my cousins who were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary today. It was a fun day of driving (back) to LA and seeing not-too-extended family.
It was also my mom’s birthday. After the anniversary party we headed to the Olive Garden. It’s amazing that my parents put up with me some times. This picture is actually pretty symbolic or poetic or something.
