I went to Silvergreens (my new favorite resturant) with my good friends Chris and Katie Humphreys for lunch today and found these arches and fun hanging lights. I’ll admit I boosted the contrast on this one quite a bit… because contrast is sexy.

I discovered this gorgeous collection of studio/townhouses today while I was ordering my mom’s birthday present and had three thoughts:

1. I am seriously considering adding “Owning a studio at 225 E. Cota Street” to my goals.
2. I was reminded that I really want to learn to weld. I’m sure you’ll find out throughout this year that I LOVE to photograph metalwork. (that one is already part of my goal list.)
3. If I was taller I could take cool pictures from above things (I had to stand on a conveniently placed bench to get this one).
